Rise and Shine Mo Bros and Mo Sistas

Good Morning Mo Bros and Mo Sistas!
What better way to start off  day 13 of Movember then to follow up on our next model, John Kapageridis. John, 28, is a U of T alum who majored in Biology and Psychology. Currently, John works in healthcare as a Business Development Executive.

This year is John’s FOURTH year participating in the Movember movement. The charity is something that John is extremely passionate about as he is dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle. John explains, “the charity falls in line with my own personal views on staying healthy.”
Over the last two Movembers, the charity became more personal to John as he unfortunately lost his dad to cancer, “it happened after I began participating, and added so much more to the cause over the last couple of years. We all have someone we’ve lost to cancer. Movember enhances that awareness and makes you want to do something about it.”
John has a strong dedication to maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. On top of going to the gym several times a week, John always chooses the stairs over elevators and believes that, “the number one thing that people lose sight of is that every little thing counts.” Whether it’s choosing the stairs over the elevator or adding that extra teaspoon of sugar in your coffee, the little things can have a positive or negative impact on your health.
What key advice would John give? Make exercise part of your daily routine, and make sure it’s fun.
Over the next month, John will be modelling his moustache after Sean Connery from The Untouchables. But unlike Connery, the only weapon John will be using is his facial hair.
